What is Web Hosting and why do I need it for my website?
Web site hosting is the business of storing the files for your website on a server, which can then be connected to via the internet so people can then see your website. For small websites it is normal for a server to be shared between other websites. Alternatively, larger websites with lots of traffic require a dedicated server machine which is solely dedicated to the traffic on that one Web site.
