As lots of people are still trying to understand what Twitter is and how it can be useful to them, so in general only a true Twitter user is benefitting from the new lists, but from the response, Twitter lists have gone down well and the response has been huge and staying in the Trendy Topics.
But what are Twitter Lists – Basically you can now create your own custom groups of Twitter users by organizing them into lists. Your lists will be public by default for the world to see, or you can specify to keep them private. If someone adds you to their list you will be able to see it on your profile, could help you to see how popular you are. 
The feature is still being tested but soon developers will be able to add support for Lists into your favorite Twitter apps. What will the Twitter team think of next??
